In the Tashkent metro, it will be possible to use the services of all mobile operators, the Ministry of Transport and the Tashkent metro said at a briefing.
In order to improve passenger services on the metro, work is underway to attract other mobile operators to increase the attractiveness of the metro. Currently, only Ucell is operating its network in the metro.
The Tashkent Metro added that in the near future the Metropolitan - Passenger portal will be opened, through which passengers, residents and tourists will be able to send their proposals, recommendations or feedback.
Executives of the Tashkent metro also announced that the short-term (for 2021-2022) and long-term (for 2023-2030) measures to upgrade the equipment and facilities of the metro are currently being developed.
