The President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a video conference meeting devoted to fulfillment of the set tasks, problems in industries and development of sectors, a government source reported.
The source added that, in the meeting the President criticized some TV channels, citing “Uzbekistan” and “Yoshlar” channels, and noted the need to change the way they work. He emphasized that they are still working “in the same old way”.
“The time of "flag-waving and window-dressing" is now gone, there must be critical and analytical programs. People must eagerly wait for programs. We must change the way Akhborot program (News program on Uzbekistan channel) works”- he said.
