Tactical drills were held in the military districts of the Ministry of Defense as part of the check of the combat readiness of all military and enforcement units and their interaction, the Ministry of Defense said.

The surprise check of combat readiness encompassed air, artillery and battalion tactical groups. On the ground and in the air, in conditions as close as possible to combat, scenarios of battalion-tactical exercises were drilled at several training grounds. The personnel of the units were tasked with destroying the enemy who crossed the border.

The "Gathering" command sounded in the South-West Special and Tashkent Military Districts, as well as in the military units of the Air Defense and Air Force. Tactical exercises were held at the Angren and Termez combined-arms training grounds. According to legend, a breakthrough occurred on one of the sections of the state border. Equipment and weapons were transferred to these areas, and personnel also arrived. The servicemen were tasked with finding and destroying the armed groups.

The drills were also held at a military airfield in the Southwestern Special Military District. From 4:00 AM in the morning, the crews of fighter, assault and helicopter aviation conducted many kilometers of flights in order to work out the tasks as intended. The check of the personnel and military equipment was held under the leadership of the Minister of Defense, the Lieutenant-General Bahodir Kurbanov. He controlled the interaction of all types and branches of the troops, the Ministry of Defense noted.

Military pilots on Su-25 aircraft launched a series of air strikes on the terrain where the conditional enemy was located. After practicing target shooting, performing missile strikes and destroying the simulated enemy bases at the Termez training ground, the combat crews returned to the airfield.
