The state tender commission has awarded purchases through bidding for large state-owned facilities, the State Assets Management Agency said.
Metropol Group was announced as the winner of the bidding announced on April 10 for purchase of the former building of the State Security Service (at: Tashkent, Yunusabad district, Sayilgoh street). Metropol Group offered a 210 billion soums, or US$ 20 million, redemption value. The facility was included in the list of privatized 15 state-owned assets.
The total area of the land plot is 2.2 hectares, the area of buildings and structures is 40,243 sqm., building area - 9376 sqm. Communication networks (water, gas, electricity, heat) are available.
The buyer is allowed to launch one or more of the following activities at the facility: office premises, retail premises, a shopping and entertainment center, rendering of culture and leisure, sports, tourism and others services.
