Uzbekistan delegation, headed by the Minister of Health Abdukhakim Khadzhibaev, arrived in South Korea to study the Korean experience and technologies for the construction of oncological hospitals, Dunyo news agency reported.

South Korea’s experience will be used in the construction of a specialized oncological hospital in Tashkent for treating and operating oncological patients with a high severity of the disease. The building will be located at the Tashkent Medical Academy. The site of the future construction was visited by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev in mid-May, who instructed to use the South Korean experience in the design and construction of the hospital.

The Uzbek side invited South Korean experts and leading companies to take part in the creation of an oncological hospital. The Minister of Health of the Republic of Korea, Kwon Dok Chol, replied that he would be happy to contribute to improving the health of the people of Uzbekistan and will transfer the know-how of the South Korean government to build high-profile cancer hospitals.
