On Tuesday, the Uzbek Health Minister, Alisher Shadmanov, as part of the Russia visit of Uzbekistan delegation headed by Prime Minister, Abdulla Aripov, met his Russian counterpart, Veronika Skvortsova in Moscow.
As the press service of the Russian Health Ministry reported, the sides exchanged views on the introduction of telemedicine into medical practice and noted the need to establish systemic interaction in matters of medical science and education.
According to the information voiced at the meeting, 8 cooperation agreements are planned to be signed between Uzbek and Russian medical and scientific institutions in addition to the existing ones.
Veronica Skvortsova invited Alisher Shadmanov to take part in the First Global Ministerial Conference of the World Health Organization on Tuberculosis in Moscow.
