Uzbekistan government delegation led by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov landed in Minsk to attend the next meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The press service of the Prime Minister said in a statement, the heads of delegations were first hosted by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Reportedly, at the meeting Alexander Lukashenko noted that dialogue in this format was important in the implementation of the agreements reached at the CIS Council of Heads of State.
After that, the heads of delegations laid a wreath at the Victory Monument in Minsk, the statement said.
According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the heads of delegations are expected to exchange views on topical issues of economic cooperation within the Commonwealth, to determine the date and place of the next meeting.
