A ceremony of presenting credentials by the newly appointed foreign ambassadors to Uzbekistan was held on April 23, the presidential press service said.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev received credentials from Muhammad Jahangir Alam, the Ambassadors of Bangladesh, Václav Jílek of the Czech Republic, Amira Fahmy of Egypt, Demiye Zuheir Haddad of Jordan, Olgan Bekar of Turkey, Oleg Malginov of the Russian Ambassador and Charlotte Adrian of the European Union.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the ambassadors on the start of their posting in the country and wished them success. He also had brief talks with the ambassadors.
