The Russian airline Red Wings is exploring the possibility of launchng flights from Yekaterinburg and Chelyabinsk to the main cities of Uzbekistan on SSJ 100 aircrafts, announced the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, TASS reported.
He noted that the leadership of the airline held the talks with the aviation authorities of Uzbekistan at the INNOPROM exhibition.
According to the official, the timing of the launch of the flights will depend on the restoration of air traffic and the issuance of permits by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation for specific routes.
"Now in the fleet of Red Wings includes 4 SSJ 100 aircrafts, the technical acceptance of three more liners, which will begin flights at the end of April, is nearing completion," Manturov said.
