Jamshid Abdusalomov has become the new director of the Agency for International Cooperation and Development under the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment, he had served as deputy governor of Tashkent province/head of the investment and foreign trade department.
The new department will be engaged in improving the efficiency of investment projects implemented at the expense of the country's external debt. In particular, the Agency is entrusted with the tasks of pre-project assessment of the proposals of the project initiators with the involvement of qualified consultants and experts.
