By the March 18 Presidential decree, Rustam Juraev has been appointed as the Minister for Emergency Situations, a statement of the Ministry of Emergency Situations said.
Previously, Rustam Juraev had served as the head of the Internal Affairs Department of Khorezm province.
Previous head of the Emergency Situations Ministry, Tursinkhan Khudaibergenov has since December been working as the State Advisor to the President fo the control and coordination of work with appeals from individuals and legal entities.
