On March 17, in Warsaw, the Deputy Foreign Minister Sherzod Asadov met with the Director of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE/ODIHR) Matteo Mecacci.
According to the Foreign Ministry, an exchange of views took place on the issues of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE/ODIHR.
Sherzod Asadov reportedly noted that one of the key priorities of Uzbekistan’s foreign policy is the further advancing cooperation with the OSCE and its structures, including on human rights, strengthening and protecting democratic institutions, improving electoral processes.
