“Last year, due to the pandemic, we were unable to celebrate Navruz as before - with big celebrations. Then we hoped that soon the troubling days would be left behind and we, together with our people, would celebrate many more holidays. Today these dreams are coming true. In our beautiful country, a festive mood reigns again, joyful days are beginning,” he said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that the pandemic has not yet been completely overcome, and "so that the efforts are not wasted, the fight against the pandemic must not be stopped for a minute."
“Our strength lies in unity and solidarity, our strength lies in kindness, mutual assistance and generosity, our success lies in firm confidence in the future,” he said.
The President noted that this time Navruz is celebrated in the year of the 30th anniversary of the country's independence. According to him, all large-scale reforms will continue.
“The immortal spirit and long-term philosophy of Navruz are harmoniously combined and consonant with the idea of a new Uzbekistan, which we are building today. With the dedicated labor of our people and strong political will, we will continue our large-scale reforms. No matter how difficult it is, we will never go astray from our right path to ensure the interests of our people, the future of our dear children,” he said.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stressed that priority is given to solving the problems of all segments of the population, primarily women and youth, creating conditions for them to receive education and vocational training, providing jobs, a source of income and housing.
