The Hampton by Hilton hotel will be built in the Tashkent's Abdula Qodiri Park on ​​0.75 hectares. The time capsule laying ceremony in the foundation took place on March 20, the city mayor's office said.

Reportedly, the project developer and investor is a Kazakhstan-based, BI Group, with estimated invetsment at over 100 billion soums. The construction of the 120-room hotel, which will also host a business center, will begin in May, and is scheduled to be completed in June 2022.

The ceremony was attended by the deputy mayor of Tashkent city/Head of investment and foreign trade department Sharof Rakhmanov, the mayor of Olmazor district Abdumazhid Mullazhanov, as well as the adviser-envoy of the Kazakh embassy Kanat Khasenov and the chairman of BI Group Aydin Rakhimbaev.

BI Group signed a master agreement with Hilton Worldwide to build 10 Hampton by Hilton hotels in Central Asia, including a hotel in Tashkent, last year.
