Military units of Uzbekistan and India conducted joint drill Friendship-II at Chaubatiya training center in Ranikhet, India, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
At the shooting range, the servicemen destroyed the "enemy" in close combat. In the jungle - at the second training point - the servicemen were placed in a tactical environment where they had to hit various targets set on a 1,500 m long strip.
To bring the drills closer to real combat conditions, Indian-made training weapons and sensor targets were used, the report says.
