On March 11, in Tashkent, following the talks between the Uzbek and Kyrgyz leaders, they oversaw the handing over of signed documents, the presidential press service said.

The presidents also adopted a joint statement.

There was also an exchange of signed documents between the ministers and governors of the two countries. In total, during the visit, 22 documents were signed covering almost all areas of the multifaceted Uzbek-Kyrgyz partnership.

Road maps for the further expansion of cooperation between Andijan and Osh, Namangan and Jalal-Abad provinces, Fergana province and Batken, Naryn provinces will undoubtedly serve to strengthen interprovincial cooperation," the press service said.

  • Agreement between the governments on the Uzbek-Kyrgyz development fund.
  • Agreement between the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan on cooperation in the fight against smuggling and violations of customs legislation.
