On March 11, 2021, the Board of the Central Bank decided to keep the interest rate at 14% per annum, the Central Bank said in a statement.
“This decision was the follow-up of the current course of monetary policies aimed at achieving an interim inflation target below 10% annually in 2021 and a sustainable recovery in economic activity, as well as facilitating lower inflation expectations,” the statement said.
