Negotiations between experts of the Uzbekistan Football Association (UFA) and FIFA regarding the use of the VAR system during the matches of the 2021 season in Uzbekistan league have yielded positive results, the UFA reported.
The necessary regulations for the use of the system were duly uploaded to the FIFA VAR platform. A report on the results recorded by the video assistant referees team at the 2020 games was also adopted by FIFA.
Thus, FIFA has authorized the use of the VAR system in football matches organized by the UFA and the Professional Football League in the 2021 season.
