The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov plans to visit Uzbekistan on March 11-12, the AKIpress news agency reported citing the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry Ruslan Kazakbaev.
According to him, many invitations have been received from the heads of state of other countries.
"In his speech, the president voiced his desire that he wants to make the first visits to neighboring countries - Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, China," Kazakbayev said.
Ruslan Kazakbayev added that the schedule of visits will be drawn up after the visit to Uzbekistan.
Earlier Sadyr Japarov made visits to Russia and Kazakhstan.
At the end of February, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met with his Kyrgyz counterpart and invited the Kyrgyz side to take part in the conference “Central Asia and South Asia: Regional Relations. Challenges and Opportunities”, which will be held in Tashkent in 2021.
The parties also discussed the preparation, content and conduct of the official visit of the President of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan.
