On March 1-2, the Foreign Minister Kamilov will pay a working visit to the Russian Federation. Negotiations with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov are planned.
During the upcoming meeting of the foreign ministers of Uzbekistan and Russia are expected to discuss topical issues of bilateral relations, prospects for the further advancing cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia in the political, trade, economic, scientific and other spheres, exchange views on issues of international and regional agendas of mutual interest, the Russian Foreing Ministry said.
Special attention will be paid to the organization of the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow. Today there are reportedly about 30 bilateral documents are at a high degree of readiness. The upcoming second meeting of the Joint Commission at the level of the heads of government of Russia and Uzbekistan this year will contribute to the successful holding of the summit.
The Russian Federation is confident that the upcoming events will become important events in the political life of the two countries, will serve the further development of multi-format bilateral ties, strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between our peoples.
