Abdukhashim Abdullayev has been appointed as new chairman of the board of UzKimyoSanoat (transl. Uzbek Chemical Industry, a state-run company) by the Feb. 9 resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan, the Governmental portal said.

Prior to this appointment Abdukhashim Abdullayev (born in 1950) had since 2008 served as the deputy head of FerganaAzot. In 2006-2008 he was the governor of Fergana province, in 2005-2006 - mayor of Margilan city, in 1992-2005 - deputy general director, afterwards the director general of Azot in Fergana.

By another Feb. 9 government decree, Fazliddin Bakiyev (born in 1969) has been approved to the post of chairman of the board of UzElTechSanoat (transl. Uzbek Electrical-Technical Industry, a state-run company).

Fazliddin Bakiyev had since 2007 worked in the Cabinet of Ministers, from 2013 he held the post of head of the consolidated information and analytical department on macroeconomic development, structural reforms and foreign investment. From 1995 to 2005 he served in various positions in the Central Bank, in 2005-2007 he was the deputy chairman of the Central Bank.

It should be reminded that the previous chiefs of UzKimyoSanoat and UzElTechSanoat Normat Ibragimov and Erkin Iminov were sacked at the government meeting on January 14 by the President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
