Officers of the State Security Service and the Anti-Corruption Agency have detained the senior investigator of the Andijan province police department and the head of the temporary detention center of thу department, Uzbekistan 24 TV channel reported.
According to the channel, the officers of the department, in a conspiracy, promised the man accused under Articles 141-2 (violation of legislation on personal data) and 182 (violation of customs legislation) of the Criminal Code, to assist in a court through proxies in imposing a sentence not related with imprisonment. In return they demanded 12 thousand dollars from his sister.
These persons were arrested red-handed while receiving the cash, the channel says.
In addition, the bailiff of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement of the Tashlak district of Fergana province promised to end the case on the debt for the electricity of the farm that created a greenhouse using hydroponics technology. For this he asked for $ 2,000.
The bailiff was detained while receiving the requested amount during an operational event carried out by employees of the State Security Services in Fergana province and the Territorial Administration of the Department for Combating Economic Crimes under the General Prosecutor's Office.
