A 10-year-old Uzbek girl, who arrived from the UAE, was diagnosed with the UK strain of coronavirus. This is the first case of this type of COVID-19 in the country, said Deputy Minister of Health/Head of the Sanitary and Epidemiological Welfare Service Bakhodir Yusupaliev.
She was tested positive during the express test at the airport and was sent to an infectious diseases hospital.
On the same day, functional and clinical examinations were carried out which diagnosed the asymptomatic COVID-19. The rest of the family members did not have the coronavirus, and they are in home quarantine.
