On March 2, 2017, the Uzbek Foreign Minister, Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador of Australia with residence in Moscow, Peter Martin Tash, the Foreign Ministry's press service said.
The Ambassador conveyed to the Minister the credentials addressed to the President of Uzbekistan.
The sides discussed the state and priority areas for advancing the Uzbek-Australian ties and cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.
Special attention was paid to expanding trade-economic and investment ties, prospects for joint projects.
