The Deputy Minister of Transport Davron Dekhkanov was fired by a presidential decree, a source in the government told the Tashkent Times.
This sacking came after the meeting chaired by Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Head of the Presidential Administration Zainilobiddin Nizomiddinov on January 4.
Davron Dekhkanov had worked as Deputy Minister of Transport since the creation of the Ministry in 2019, and before that he had served as Deputy Chairman of Uzbekistan Railways.
As previously reported, after the same meeting, the Minister of Housing and Communal Services Muzaffar Soliev was also sacked.
