From January 1, 2021, the Fergana Province Police Department will begin to use drones to record offenses, the department said. With the help of unmanned aerial vehicles, it is planned to register such violations of speed limit, traffic signals, and giving way to pedestrian.
In addition, drones will help to record and promptly respond to cases of public order violations, violations of lockdown requirements (wearing masks), and others.
The purpose of the novelty is not to collect fines, but to ensure compliance with the rules concerning human life and health, the statement added.
