The Cabinet of Ministers issued the Measures for Further Development of Open Data in the Republic of Uzbekistan Resolution, Norma reported.
As part of the Digital Uzbekistan-2030 Strategy, the Resolution has approved: Uzbekistan’s Open Data Development Concept for 2021-2025; the Roadmap for its implementation in 2021; Regulation on the open data portal of Uzbekistan.
The draft Road map for the coming years will be developed and submitted by the Statistics Committee annually before December 1 to the Cabinet of Ministers for approval by the Coordination Commission.
The Ministry for ICT Development shall manage the open data portal, as well as responsible for its technical support and smooth operation.
The Statistics Committee is responsible for the formation, maintenance and updating of the list of open data of state institutions and organizations and coordination of activities for the timely entry of data on the Portal.
Within 3 months, it is necessary to develop and submit for approval to the Coordination Commission a plan-schedule for the gradual integration of the portal into the e-government, information systems and databases of ministries and departments, as well as a list of data sets to be published on the portal.
The Ministry for ICT Development was instructed to develop and study the design and technical documentation for the development of a new version of the portal and ensure its launch by August 1, 2021.
