The Uzbek Ministry for ICTs Development and the Ministry of Interior and Safety of the Republic of Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on setting up of an Uzbek-Korean expert group in the field of e-government and digital economy.
The MoU was signed by the Uzbek Minister for ICTs Development Sh. Sodiqov and the South Korean Minister of Interior and Safety Chin Young.
The main objectives of the expert group are:
• preparing of priority projects and programs for the development of e-government and digital economy;
• consulting on drafting of e-government development plan;
• contributing to development of national policies in the field of e-government and establishment of information exchange;
• exchange of information for streamlining organizational and technical work to transitioning public services to online format;
• exchange of experience for the further development of e-government system;
• implementation of other projects as per e-government and digital economy development program.
