“We must note that these days there has been sharp drop in pressure in the natural gas supply to the settlements of Andijan province. According to the facsimile from Uztransgaz, due to the accident at the Yangiyer compressor station, a drop in pressure was observed in the main gas pipelines through which gas goes to Fergana Valley. Therefore, there were interruptions in the gas supply in Andijan province , in particular,” the statement said.

In addition, as a result of the pressure drop in the Andijan-1 gas network of the Kumakai gas distribution point from 17–20 kg/cm² to 3 kg/cm², more than 1,500 households have problems with gas supply. Gas supply to settlements has been restored.
