On December 7, 2020, citizen Kh., who wished to remain anonymous, called the Syrdarya province prosecutor's office asking to take action against a businessman J.Z., who ordered to hit his rival M.D. in return of money.
J.Z. allegedly offered him $ 5,000 for the murder of another businessman, including US$ 1,000 upfront. When Kh. refused the offer, the customer stated that he would find another person and would still kill the competitor.
Reported on December 10, the Syrdarya province prosecutor's office and other law enforcement agencies carried out an operation, during which citizen Kh. met with J.Z. in a cemetery in Gulistan, showed him fake photoshopped photographs of the deceased M.D. Later, the customer was detained in one of the makhallas of the Mirzaabad province when he was handing over $ 4,000.
On this fact, the Syrdarya province prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against J. Z. who is now facing Attempted murder charge. The suspect has been arrested.
