On February 20, 2017 the Competition Committee of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between the chairman Davron Khidoyatov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey, Ahmet Başar Şen.
The sides discussed prospects for further cooperation in the field of privatization, antitrust regulation and other activities of the Committee.
Noting the importance and significance of attracting foreign investors to the Privatization program, the two sides discussed the issue of active involvement of the Turkish businesses to the program.
The sides also discussed prospects of cooperation in the field of competition development and consumer protection, including the participation of the sides in the forums.
