On December 2, the Uzbek Ambassador to Russia Botirjon Asadov met with the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
According to the Tatarstan Presidency website, the parties discussed the ways to further advance bilateral cooperation, consolidating trade-economic ties and increasing the volume and range of the two-way trade in goods and services, in touching also upon the ties in the field of education, culture and tourism.
Tatar Deputy PM/Minister of Industry and Trade Albert Karimov, the Tourism Committee Chairman Sergey Ivanov and other officials were also present in the meeting.
