The Tashkent City Clinical Emergency Hospital, the perinatal center and the infectious diseases hospital No. 3, previously redesigned to treat patients with coronavirus, returned to their usual mode and now are treating patients of own profile, the Ministry of Health said.
Since December 2, these facilities no longer receive patients with coronavirus "due to significant drop in the number of coronavirus cases,", the ministry added.
After discharge, all patients will undergo disinfection, and medical devices will be mothballed. Medicines used to treat coronavirus will be stored as a reserve.
Earlier in mid-November, the Research Institute of Virology and the Clinic of the Research Institute of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, redesigned for the treatment of COVID-19 at the beginning of the pandemic, returned to their normal operations.
