On the sidelines of the 13th Republic of Korea-Central Asia Cooperation Forum, on November 26, 2020, the Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov met with the South Korean Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The Uzbek Foreign Minister reportedly noted that the relations based on friendship and trust between the leaders of the two countries elevated the bilateral ties to the Special Strategic Partnership level.
The parties noted that trade, economic and investment ties have stepped up, with the number of joint ventures established in Uzbekistan doubling in recent years.
The parties also expressed mutual interest in further expanding cooperation in science, education, information and communication technologies, digitization and implementing green technologies and also focused on cooperation in the field of health and pharmaceuticals.
