On February 15 the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Adkham Ikramov held a meeting with the Vice Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan, Zhenish Razakov in Fergana, a statement of the Kyrgyz government website said.
The meeting focused on the cross-border cooperation, as well as the delimitation and demarcation of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state boundary.
The sides noted the need for a speedy agreeing of the positions on the remaining sections of the state boundary.
In addition, the members of the two government delegations took part in the ceremony on the occasion of the 24th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan on February 16 at the Drama Theater named after Babur in Osh.
