The ninth plenary session of the Senate will convene online on November 20, the Senate said. Senators will review the State Genomic Registration Bill, Amendments and Addenda to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan Due to Further Strengthening of Guarantees of the Rights of Owners Bill, Amendments and Addenda to Some Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with Measures Taken to Mitigate the Negative Impact on the Economic Sectors of Coronavirus Pandemic and the Global Crisis Bill, Establishment of Title of Honorary Geologist of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bill and Establishment of the Day of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan Bill.
The senators will also consider the report of the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementation of the 2020 state program and will discuss the implementation of the Openness of the Activities of Public Authorities Law by ministries, departments and local authorities.
At the meeting, it is planned to discuss the sending of parliamentary requests to the government on measures to increase the competitiveness of the country's special economic zones, on increasing the efficiency of medical examination of young people going into marriage, and other issues.
The Senate will discuss the results of parliamentary requests to the Cabinet of Ministers on measures to protect the rights of Uzbek citizens working in Russia, on the state of horticultural and viticultural associations, on the problems of attracting the population, especially young people, to sports, on conditions for the development of women's entrepreneurship, on the problems associated with waste and their impact on public health.
