The President Shavkat Mirziyoyev will on November 10 attend the online meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the presidential press service said.
The agenda of the meeting, chaired by the Russian side, includes issues of deepening multifaceted cooperation within the SCO in the context of strengthening new global challenges and threats.
The parties will consider the current level and discuss the prospects for the development of multilateral relations in priority areas, as well as exchange views on topical international and regional issues.
The UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is also expected to deliver a video message to the summit participants.
Following the meeting, the parties are scheduled to adopt the Moscow Declaration and a package of documents aimed at expanding mutually beneficial cooperation within the SCO, including in the field of security, economic cooperation, the introduction of digital technologies, the development of rural areas, effective countering epidemics and in other areas.
