The Senate will convene for the eighth plenary session on October 21 through a videoconference, the press service of the Senate said.
The senators will review the Precious Metals and Precious Stones Bill, Amendments and Addenda to the Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Administrative Liability Bill, Amendments and Addenda to some Legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Connection with the Further Improvement of Legislation to Ensure Public Safety Bill and Amendments and Addenda to Some Legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bill.
The senators will also hear the report of the governor of the Jizzakh province and consider the issue of sending a parliamentary request to the Cabinet of Ministers on problems in providing the population with drinking water.
In addition, the session will discuss the results of a request to the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the General Prosecutor's Office on the state of commission of crimes related to torture and other cruel treatment and punishment.
The senators will consider the results of requests to the government on the state of road safety and other issues.
