Air Arabia Abu Dhabi from obtained permission for regular flights to Uzbekistan, the Civil Aviation Agency under the Ministry of Transport of Uzbekistan said in a statement.

"As per the agreement between the governments of Uzbekistan and the UAE, the Uzaviation Agency issued an operational permit No. 3-K ofSeptember 9 to Air Arabia Abu Dhabi to operate regular Abu Dhabi to Tashkent flights" - the statement said.

The company also received permit to operate Sharjah to Tashkent regular flights.

Air Arabia Abu Dhabi is the new low cost carrier of the United Arab Emirates, which launched operations this summer. The airline was established following an agreement between Etihad Airways and Air Arabia as the first low-cost airline based at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
