Uzbekistan and Russia signed an Agreement on simplifying customs operations when moving goods and vehicles between the two countries.
The document was signed in Tashkent on February 15 in the framework of the 18th meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation. The meeting was chaired by the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Rustam Azimov and Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitriy Kozak.
Also, at the meeting was signed a Protocol on compliance with phytosanitary import requirements for high phytosanitary risk fruits and vegetables.
Uzbek UzStroyMaterialy and Russian Eurocement Group signed a Protocol of intent to build a new dry process cement production line at AkhangaranCement.
Agreement on cooperation was signed by the Republican Tashkent Center of Cardiology and Northwestern Federal Research Medical Center after Almazov in St. Petersburg, Tashkent Medical Academy and Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University, as well as the Uzbek Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Treatment and the St. Petersburg Scientific Research Institute of emergency Care after Janelidze.
