More than 2,300 schools will open in Uzbekistan from today bringing the total number of opened schools to 2,635, with 335 opened in early September.
Note: There are nearly 10 thousand general education schools in Uzbekistan, with 6.2 million pupils and more than 486 thousand teachers.
Most schools are expected to open on October 1. At the same time, the decision to open schools will be made on an individual basis, in accordance with the real situation on the ground and the conclusions of the health care system, after the permission of the councils of people's deputies.
