Uzbek military servicemen landed in Moscow to participate in the International Army Games, which will be held from 23 August to 5 September, the Uzbek Ministry of Defense reported.

The servicemen were earlier hosted in Tashkent by the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan, Major General Bakhodir Kurbanov, who wished them luck in the competitions.

This year, it is planned to hold 30 international competitions on the territory of five states - Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus and Uzbekistan. More than 160 teams from 30 countries will participate in the games.

As Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said earlier, participants in the International Army Games will undergo a mandatory two-week quarantine and take a coronavirus test.
