The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan on August 9 topped 30,609, the press service of the Ministry of Health said. The increase in new cases per day was 691 (the day before - 693).
During Sunday, 6 deaths of patients with coronavirus were reported: 3 in Tashkent city and 1 each in Tashkent, Kashkadarya and Navoi provinces. The total number of deaths, according to the Ministry of Health, has reached 194.
The number of those treated increased by 726 to 22,042, which is 72%.
Now 8373 people are being treated in medical institutions, 1378 of them are in serious condition, 386 are in extremely serious.
