The House of Uzbek-Tajik Friendship has opened in Rishtan district of Fergana province, the Dunyo reported. At the opening of the house, poems by Alisher Navoi and Abdurahmon Jami were recited as an example of friendship between the Uzbek and Tajik peoples, who are united by religion, similar culture, traditions and customs, the agency said.
The governor of Fergana province Shukhrat Ganiev noted that the house will become the center of spirituality, where cultural evenings, poetry readings and educational talks would take place.
