The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan increased by 489 (498 a day earlier) and reached 18,868, the Ministry of Health said. 54 cases were detected in a quarantine center near Tashkent in those who arrived from abroad and 435 in those who were tested.
4 patients died during the day, 3 in Tashkent and 1 in Kashkadarya province. The total number of deaths, according to the Ministry of Health is at 102.
The number recovered reached 10149 (53%), an increase of 277 on Thursday.
Currently 8,617 people are being treated at medical facilities, 118 of them are in serious condition, 30 are in extremely serious condition.
