On July 16, the Uzbek Foreign Minister of Abdulaziz Kamilov will attend the maiden China-Central Asia ministerial meeting in a video conference format, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

The event will also be attended by the Foreign ministers Wang Yi of China, Mukhtar Tleuberdi of Kazakhstan, Chingiz Aidarbekov of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sirojiddin Mukhriddin of Tajikistan and Rashid Meredov of Turkmenistan.

The video conference will discuss current issues of cooperation in countering the coronavirus pandemic, strengthening relations to ensure regional security and stability, as well as mechanisms to promote economic growth.
