Uzbekistan will join the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations, according to the President’s draft Accession to an International Treaty decree posted for public input.
The draft suggests that the country will join the Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations (New York, February 13, 1946).
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan shall become the authorized body responsible for the implementation of this international treaty and shall notify the Depositary of the accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to this international treaty.
The Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Aripov and Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan V. Mahmudov will control the joining process.
