On January 27 the Deputy Prime Minister and the Health Minister of Uzbekistan, Adkham Ikramov visited the Northwestern Federal medical research center named after V. Almazov in St. Petersburg.
A statement in the center's website said that in the course of the visit a cooperation agreement was signed between the center and the Republican Specialized Center of Cardiology under the Uzbek Health Ministry.
The document provides for the establishment of scientific and research environment for the development and implementation of joint projects in the field of clinical, preventive and experimental cardiology.
