The Public Fund for Support and Development of National Mass Media has been registered by the Ministry of Justice as a NGO and has officially started its activities, the Fund’s Telegram channel said.
The Fund’s goal is reportedly to facilitate the creation of equal conditions for the media, their development, as well as help protect the journalists’ and blogger’s rights.
The Fund also aims to contribute to the creation of self-government mechanisms for the national media community.
Among the Fund’s priorities is to support the activities of journalists and bloggers, providing them with legal, organizational, technical and other assistance, the report said.
