Uzbekistan authorities were offered to buy a Russian remote sensing ground station, the Russian Ambassador to Uzbekistan, Vladimir Tyurdenev said.
According to him, the Uzbekistan authorities are reviewing the proposal by Glavkosmos (a subsidiary of Roskosmos) to supply a remote sensing satellite earth station.
"Contacts are ongoing in the field of joint space research. The text of the intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in the field of research and use of outer space for peaceful purposes has been reconciliated. Work is underway to register the Suffa International Radio Astronomy Observatory. At present, the intra-state procedures for the approval of statutory documents have been completed," - he noted.
